Her Highness Sayyida Meyyan Al Said
A Fusion of Royal Elegance and Artistic Flair
Studio Sein created a personal branding system for Her Highness Sayyida Meyyan Al Said that merges a modern flair with royal formality. Inspired by her photography and love for florals, the emblem-based logo encloses her initials in a delicate floral design, reflecting her artistic side and regal status. A subdued yet pastel color palette in purple and green adds a contemporary twist, while Diwani Khatt typography underscores Omani formality. The resulting stationery and collateral feel both serious for official use and creatively engaging, capturing Her Highness’s dual role as a cultural figure and artist.

When Studio Sein was entrusted with designing the personal branding for Her Highness Sayyida Meyyan Al Said, the objective was clear: develop a cohesive, royal visual identity that simultaneously reflects her artistic personality and the formality befitting her royal title. This branding would serve as a unified aesthetic across public appearances and function as a platform to highlight Her Highness’s art and photography. Balancing a modern approach with the royal expectations of an Omani governmental style was at the forefront of our creative process.
One of the first steps in establishing this visual identity was selecting a color palette that would feel both fresh and regal. Drawing inspiration from Her Highness’s photographs of landscapes and nature, we incorporated pastel purple and green hues. These accent colors provided a contemporary twist, yet the overall scheme remained monotone enough to preserve a sense of royalty and formality. The resulting palette strikes a balance between subdued opulence and a more artistic, modern feel.
Central to this branding project is the logo, crafted as an emblem influenced by Her Highness’s passion for floral motifs. We aimed to create something that exudes royal grace without overshadowing her artistic flair. The emblem features her initials nestled within a floral design, symbolizing both elegance and individuality. By choosing a floral direction, we paid homage to her love for nature and ensured the mark resonates with the broader visual story.

To align with Omani formalities and governmental style, we selected Diwani Khatt for the logotype and supporting text elements. This script has historical significance in Oman’s official communications, lending a sense of gravitas and authenticity to the brand. The flowing, decorative nature of Diwani complements the floral emblem, underlining the brand’s royal and artistic attributes. This choice also ensures the brand maintains a serious tone suitable for high-level appearances and formal documents.
Given that Her Highness will use this branding for formal gifting and official documents, the stationery system needed a serious undertone. Elements like notebooks, enclosure stickers, business cards, and gift tags feature the emblem prominently, paired with the Diwani script. However, subtle touches, such as the pastel accents, keep the overall look from feeling too rigid. This blend of sophisticated minimalism and delicate artistic notes ensures the brand can adapt to various formal and creative contexts.
